About Us
Dr. Tom Pedersen has conducted research on the origin and evolution of sedimentary basins using geophysical methods and computer simulations of lithosphere deformations, including the effects of mantle plumes, magmatism and magmatic bodies. He has also worked with deep seismic reflection data and their integration into lithosphere and geodynamic models. In the period 1992-2000 he also worked on fluid flow in sedimentary basin, diagenesis and geochemical modelling. For fifteen years, Pedersen conducted research on tracer technology to improve our understanding of petroleum reservoirs with focus on the use of nanoparticles. Today, he concentrates on operational design of nanoparticles, further development of the Single Well Chemical Tracer technology and modelling of volcanic passive margins and magmatic rifts.
